The third summer in a row, I just love it here! There’s always a spot on the beach for us, and it doesn’t feel crowded even if the hotel is full. The staff is lovely, and everything is sparkling clean. I love the room with the full kitchen and glass oceanfront balcony on the second floor. The kids really enjoyed cookies and lemonade hour in the afternoon. We’ll be back next summer!

We had a great weekend! This was our 1st visit to the beachfront resort and can’t wait to return to the Corsair. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. Thank you to the staff who was very friendly and accommodating. I loved walking along the beach, the sound of the waves and view of the ocean.
My niece will be married later this year at this beach resort and I have rented the Commodore House for the week of the occasion. We had an opportunity to view the house and are very excited in our anticipation for our return stay and possibly future vacations!
This place is great! I have been back every year for about 30 years. Each time I find that the motels have been updated and the rooms are always clean and cheerful. The staff is most accommodating and friendly. It is wonderful to have a kitchenette in every unit for those days that you have had enough of all the local eateries and just want to crash by the pool and eat in.
We just left the property yesterday, 4 adults for a 4 night stay. We stayed in the Commodore house. This home is fabulous! Has EVERYTHING you need. I can’t think of one single thing that is missing. Mark was excellent to communicate with and very friendly, as was Sapphire. Booking was very easy, the lease very easy and reasonable. We would definitely stay here again. The home was very clean and so very well appointed. And, the VIEW was just fantastic. There is a private beach. We were there on off season so it was very quiet, as we like it. Since it was off season, the amenities were closed, but I can imagine the owners keep these just as well maintained and clean as the rest of the place. The house is also stocked with plenty of games in case of a rainy day, or just hanging out in the evening. There are plenty of restaurants around and lots to do. We haven’t been to the Cape in over 16 years. Wish we had found this place earlier. I don’t think we would even consider staying anywhere else in the future. Thank, Mark, for a great experience.
Great place! My third time here would return time and time again. Beautiful beach, wonderful accommodations. Great, friendly staff plus spot-on recommendations from Mark. Restaurants within walking distance, tried Ebb Tide last night and visited gift shop as well. Enjoying what the rest of the week has to offer with a great view from the room.
I try to get away to the cape each year, and love to stay at The Corsair & Cross Rip. I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to make it this year because I’ve been ill and am recovering from surgery. I was able to book a last minute getaway with the help of the staff. This year they had wait staff on the beach supplying an array of cocktails and snacks. Aureljus[sp] was so attentive and kind. Everyone made my stay very special. Thank you!
I have been going here for over 10 years and still love every second of my vacation. Staff is so friendly/accommodating. On this trip I sat back and watched them take a shade umbrella from the pool area down to the beach and move a chair under it so one of the older vacationers could sit down at the water, she didn’t ask them they asked her. Great people!!
We have been going to Dennis port for years. We have stayed at a few different hotels on Chase Road but once we stayed here at The Corsair and Cross Rip Oceanfront Hotel, we have never looked for another hotel to stay at. Mark, Sapphire and Jennifer are professional yet very friendly and helpful. They treat you like family. Being right on the beach is great. No long walk carrying everything. The hotel is very clean. It provides a lot of things to keep all ages amused – 3 pools – one indoors, 2 hot tubs, foosball, air hockey, and an outside play for the little ones are some of them. It is located in a great location to restaurants and shops. The area is safe and I love walking the beach or the streets when there. We look forward every year to returning. We are never disappointed!
Best resort on the Cape! location is amazing, rooms are clean with lots of charm, their amenities are amazing between the indoor/outdoors pools and hot tubs, the fire pit, play room, pool side bar, not to mention the staff is so friendly, amazing, and accommodating. bonus..they have houses on property to rent with amazing views! we love this place.
Also highly recommend for anyone looking to get married. My husband and I had a wedding there a year ago and had the best time! everyone there made the process so simple and easy to plan.
We just came home from a long weekend at the Corsair and Cross Rip. This hotel has been our family happy place for many years. You simply cannot beat the beach, the pools, the hot tubs, and most importantly the service. On a recent trip, my son and nephew decided they wanted to try a different hotel, and we booked during our typical end of June vacation week there. After having several panic attacks that we had made a bad decision we spoke with Sapphire and she was able to accommodate the dates for us last minute at Corsair and Cross Rip. I went from feeling as though our summer was ruined to once again looking forward to family time on the beach. I hate to rave too much about the hotel because it sometimes feels like a nice little secret, but they deserve all the credit in the world. Sapphire, Mark and crew are unparalleled in their service 🙂
Visited in September 2020 with wife and 2 small boys (9 and 5). We were looking for a low key hotel with a kitchen available that offered plenty of activities and the hotel definitely delivered.
Given that we are in a pandemic I’ll lead with the observation that they are taking cleanliness very seriously. There are ample hand sanitizer bottles available throughout and the room was spotless when we arrived. That aside, onto our review.
The hotel is actually a complex comprised of two hotels, a rec center (with indoor pool) and several vacation rental homes clustered together. All are within a 3 minute walk of each other across chase street. Each hotel has its own outdoor pool (corsair is unheated, cross rip is heated). I believe most rooms have kitchettes and you have many options for room based on first/second floor preference, overlooking pool/ocean/parking lot etc. We had a first floor “deluxe” room in the corsair which overlooked the parking lot on one side and extended through the building to end on a second entrance which led out to a short boardwalk to the beach. Although among the most inexpensive we thought these were the most practical offering easy car access, beach access and office access without the noise of people milling about outside (as you would have with pool/ocean view rooms). The area the hotel is located in is very quiet with few public amenities (stores etc.) within walking distance. I think it would be ideal for a family with 0 kids or kids under 12 as older kids may get antsy without a “downtown” to walk to. The game room has shuffleboard, foosball, air hockey and ping pong. Some of the equipment is in better shape than others (the air hockey was not really functional). Both pool decks have outdoor showers so you don’t track sand into the room. Perhaps the best part of the hotel are the staff with Mark and Sapphire being there most often. Both are incredible hosts and really add to the experience.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 3-night getaway and LOVED the place!
First, you cannot beat the amazing ocean view and the private beach! You are RIGHT THERE. The property is well thought-out and well-appointed with two outdoor pools and one indoor pool. The outdoor pools have spectacular views of the ocean. Even in mid-September we swam in the outdoor heated pool, which was kept at 80 degrees, and we were very comfortable. At night the property is well-lit so you can easily and safely walk down the stairs to the beach and listen the waves crashing while sitting on the rocks.
The property was immaculately clean, with hand sanitizer bottles everywhere, which was appreciated.
The room itself was also extremely well-kept up. Nothing in disrepair, everything sparkly clean. We stayed in a “value view” room. If you are looking for a huge room this is not it, but if you are looking for an amazing view and a private balcony, this room is a great find! Definitely big enough for a couple, does not feel at all cramped, and has all the amenities you need to be comfortable: jacuzzi tub, fridge and microwave, dining table and chairs, balcony with table and chairs, closet space, dresser drawers, etc.
Just spent the week with family! A great time was had by all! Thank you for all your hospitality!
